Pushpa 2 set for grand release in 6 languages across 3,000 overseas locations

Telugu superstar Allu Arjun’s Pushpa 2: The Rule is poised for a monumental release, confirmed to hit theatres in six languages: Telugu, Tamil, Malayalam, Hindi, Kannada, and Bengali. The announcement was made on October 24, during a grand press meet in Hyderabad attended by key distributors from various states, showcasing the film’s extensive reach and anticipation.
The producers revealed that Pushpa 2 will launch in 3,000 locations across overseas markets, promising a spectacular cinematic experience for fans worldwide. The film’s non-theatrical business has already reached Rs 420 crore, marking it as the highest to date for any Telugu film. This impressive figure underscores the immense pre-release hype surrounding the film.

Karnataka distributor Lakshmikanth Reddy emphasied the film’s potential, stating, “We are confident that Pushpa 2 will surpass KGF 2’s opening day collection of Rs 30 crore.” With an expanded strategy, Pushpa 2 is set to release in 500 single screens in Karnataka, significantly increasing its visibility compared to its predecessor.

In Tamil Nadu, Mali AGS Cinemas, the regional distributor, expressed optimism for a double-digit opening, mirroring the release strategy of GOAT (Greatest Of All Time), which debuted in 806 screens. “We believe that Pushpa 2 will capture the audience’s imagination just like our previous successes,” said Mali.

Kerala’s distributor Mukesh Mehta announced round-the-clock shows to meet demand, aiming to eclipse Leo’s opening day gross of Rs 12 crore. Meanwhile, in the Hindi and Bengali markets, distributor Anil Thadani described the upcoming release as “a dream for anyone to achieve in the coming years,” highlighting the extensive promotional efforts underway.

Directed by Sukumar, the film stars Allu Arjun, Rashmika Mandanna, and Fahadh Faasil, with a strong supporting cast, including Jagadeesh Prathap Bandari, Jagapathi Babu, Prakash Raj, and Anasuya Bharadwaj.
The film’s technical crew includes cinematographer Miroslaw Kuba Brozek, editor Naveen Nooli, and composer Devi Sri Prasad.
